Once you are done signing up on the Monnify platform and verifying your email address, you are expected to activate your business account in order to begin integrations.

If your business isn't activated yet, once you log in, you'll be taken to the business documentation part of the registration process where you'd need to provide documents relating to your business. You are expected to provide further details about what your business is into. There are six segments on this page important for your registration

N:B If your business is a starter business, the following documents are compulsory:
  • BVN, 

  • D.O.B of director

  • Valid Identification card

  • Board resolution 

  • Utility bill

  • Company’s profile

  • Business Website

Overview of the Segments

1. For the Business Information Section

You are expected to -

  1. Tell us a little bit about your company and what you are into:

  2. Provide your support email address - this is a support email in case the former provided is unreachable.

  3. Provide your chargeback email address - this is an email that will be used for transaction disputes.

  4. You’ll also be required to provide the country your business runs in, state, local government and address where your business is located

  5. Provide business logo: that is the logo for your business (optional)

  6. Provide business website URL (optional)

  7. Provide social media handles. (optional)

2. Account Information Section (All Compulsory):

You need to provide the following:

  1. Corporate Bank Name: The name of your bank.

  2. Account Number: Your corporate account number.

3. Board Members/Directors Information Section (All Compulsory)

You need to provide the following:

  1. Board Resolution

  2. Board Directors Details: Name, Country, State and LGA, Address, BVN and BVN DOB. You can put in more than one individual.

  3. Signatory ID’s: Upload signatories identity cards

4. BVN of Primary Officer (All compulsory) 

You need to provide the following:

  1. BVN of primary officer 

  2. BVN D.O.B

5. Business Registration Documents

You need to provide the following:

  1. CAC Document

  2. Company Profile

  3. Memorandum and Articles of Association (Not compulsory for starter businesses)

  4. Share Allotment Form (Not compulsory for starter businesses)

6. Others Section (All compulsory for other businesses but not compulsory for Starter Businesses)

You need to provide the following:

  1. You provide your Business Website

  2. Tax Identification Number (Not compulsory for starter businesses)

  3. Utility Bill

Once you have successfully provided your business information, the Monnify team will review your documents and verify them after which your account will be activated and ready for our API integration.
